Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive aftermarket parts sales by identifying cost-effective and performance-based solutions for customers.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers with aftermarket parts selection and cross-referencing.
  • Source parts through multiple vendors to ensure availability and competitive pricing.
  • Follow up on orders and proactively communicate status updates.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and recommend alternative or upgraded solutions when appropriate.
  • Maintain familiarity with aftermarket brands, supplier programs, and pricing structures.
  • Utilize cross-reference tools to match OE numbers with aftermarket equivalents.
  • Record departmental data and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Document product performance feedback and suggest improvements.
  • Educate customers on purchasing options, returns, and credit terms.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance and application support.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build strong relationships with fleet customers focused on uptime and cost control.
  • Set an example of professionalism and positivity.
  • Maintain an orderly and safe working environment.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Work Environment & Physical Abilities:

  • Activities require a full range of motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
  • This position may require standing, balancing, bending, or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
  • Corrected vision and hearing within normal range required.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions or irregular hours.


Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and MVR in good standing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Emotional intelligence and adaptability.
  • Computer efficiency and parts lookup system experience.
  • Ability to work any shift if needed.
  • Ability to successfully complete a general abilities assessment.
  • Ability to pass a post-offer background check, physical, and drug screen.


Preferred Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Aftermarket parts or independent parts store experience.
  • Experience with parts cross-referencing and vendor sourcing.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, gas engines, drivetrain, and suspension systems.
  • Heavy and medium-duty truck industry experience.

Job Details:

  • Type: Hourly
  • Compensation Range: $26.00 to $34.00 an Hour
  • Reports To: Parts Manager
  • Shift: (Monday - Friday) (Flexible Hours)
  • Closing Date: Open Until Filled
