Maneuver with ease, stay weight-compliant, and outperform larger trucks. Upgrade your fleet with T7 Rival Hydrovacs and conquer urban excavation projects.
When it comes to non-destructive hydro excavation, the Rival T7 Hydrovac sets the standard. With adjustable water pressure and vacuum power, this machine easily adapts to various soil conditions, making it a must-have for construction, utility, and infrastructure projects. The primary advantage to the Rival T7 is that it will hold a full debris load and maintain a total legal weight. Many larger trucks are not in fact used as larger units because they can only haul partial loads and still be legally operating.
Assembled on the Western Star 47X or Freightliner Chassis, the Rival T7 hydrovac features a Cummins X12 engine boasting 370 hp/1250 ft/lb of torque or a Detroit Diesel of similar capabilities and an Allison 3000 RDS automatic transmission. It has a 16,000 # front axle rating, 40,0000# rear axle rating, premium interior package, and 800-gallon fresh water capacity. The 7 cubic yard debris capacity and Robuschi 105 Blower Cube give this small but mighty hydrovac truck a competitive boost, even compared with much larger trucks.

A hydrovac truck, also known as a hydro excavation truck or vacuum excavator, is a specialized vehicle used for non-destructive excavation and material removal. It combines high-pressure water and a powerful vacuum system to excavate and remove soil, debris, or other materials.
As the name suggests, hydrovac trucks are used to excavate using a vacuum (“vac”) and pressurized hot water (“hydro”). Hydrovacs carefully remove earth, clay, soil, ice, gravel, or dirt from an area using a non-destructive process, meaning that all underground fixtures and infrastructure are left undamaged. Additionally, hydrovac trucks are safer and more efficient, environmentally friendly, and precise than traditional digging methods such as a backhoe or large equipment.
Hydrovac trucks are commonly used in various industries and applications, including construction, utility work, trenching, and environmental cleanup, among others.
When selecting a hydrovac truck, consider the tank capacity, vacuum power, water pressure, boom reach, hose length, heating capabilities, available accessories, and the reputation of the manufacturer or dealer and post-sale service.
